The Canal hotel is housed in a traditional building, and provides Venetian style accommodation, in an intimate atmosphere. The hotel benefits from a small private garden, where guests can enjoy breakfast in the warmer months, or relax with drinks and snacks from the bar. The hotel has many original features, including the wooden beams visible in the ceiling, which lends to the atmosphere of the hotel. Guestrooms are elegant, clean, and equipped with standard amenities. This hotel is a good option for those on a bugdet, but don't want to sacrifice comfort.

The Canal hotel is closely located to the Santa Lucia train station, just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The nearest is vaporetto stop is 2 minutes walk from the hotel, giving great access to the rest of the island. St Mark's Square can be reached on 20-30 minutes on foot, a pleasant walk taking in the sights of the island.
