Our Review

The Ai Mori D'Oriente Hotel has the intimacy and charm of a typical small Venetian hotel, with an exotic style throughout, blending Byzantine and Venetian themes. The hotel (a former palace) takes it's style from centuries ago, when Turkish tradesman lived there. Guestrooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with standard amenties. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, while guests can relax in the bar after a day sightseeing. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, guests have a great choice in the vicinity of the hotel.

Located in the Cannaregio district, the main attractions such as St Marks and the Rialto Bridge can be reached on foot in roughly 20 minutes. Guests can also benefit from using the vaporetto to get around the island, enjoying the views en route. The area itself has a good choice of bars, restaurants, and shops, yet is still more peaceful than the bustling San Marco area.
